Furniture Design

During my design classes, I was tasked to master something and to build a stool. I choose to go to college for interior design because in highschool I worked for a custom cabinet shop because it sparked my love for kitchen design. For my mastery project I decided to build my own cabinet design, a record player stand. I worked with my coworker from the shop as he mentored me throughout the whole process. For my other project, my furniture design class required me to design and build a stool. I found a problem in my house and that was my kitchen cabinets were too high for me to reach. So I built a step stool. I finished these pieces with the same stain and top coat to display them together in my home. Both pieces work well with my industrial farm style.
